Sharing Bread is a humanitarian initiative founded by Innergy Mix® and operated under the Genius Gives Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We exist to feed families, restore dignity, and bring hope to communities facing hunger and hardship across West Africa.
Our work is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the biblical call to care for the vulnerable. Guided by Isaiah 58:7 and Matthew 25:35-36, we believe that sharing bread with the hungry is not charity—it is worship.
Our mission is simple: to defeat hunger, one community at a time.
Across Ghana and Nigeria, millions face food insecurity driven by conflict, climate shocks, and economic instability. We respond with essential food supplies, prayer support, and partnerships that honor the strength and dignity of those we serve.
We believe access to food is a basic human right—and that every meal delivered is a chance to remind someone they are seen, valued, and loved.
In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic devastated economies across Africa, Innergy Mix—a startup company at the time—chose to act. With the little revenue they had, they gave back to the community, providing just under 100 families with a week’s worth of food supplies.
That simple act of obedience grew into a movement. To expand the mission and ensure sustainable impact, Innergy Mix partnered with Genius Gives Foundation to formalize and grow the initiative under a nonprofit structure.
Together, we have now served over 2,000 families across Nigeria and Ghana, delivering not just food—but hope, dignity, and the reminder that no one is forgotten.
On distribution days, our volunteers lace up their shoes and step into neighborhoods many overlook. We place food packs in open hands and ask, with humility, if we may pray with them.
